Running and Protein

This morning was another beautiful time for a run. Our regular Wednesday group met at 6am for the 8 mile route. I have to admit that it is tough to get up at 5am but knowing that people are meeting you is the best motivation. Group runs have many benefits and 1 of my favourites is the conversations. They are not only interesting, but more importantly they make the run go by so much faster! Today we touched on protein powder so I thought I would share my favourite kind!

Sunwarrior

This company was born in the USA and has a mission committed to making the best plant-based products while elevating humanity and preserving the planet. All products are made in the USA and are completely free of animal products, GMOs, solvents, radiation, artificial colors, artificial preservatives, artificial flavors, herbicides, pesticides, dairy, egg, soy, added sugar, wheat, or yeast.

I've tried 2 of their products:

Warrior Blend Raw Protein Plant-Based Vanilla
This flavor is quite unusual so I blended it with a variety of fruits and veggies to tamper the flavor. After a week of that I had no problem drinking it mixed with just almond milk. I recommend blending it in a blender as it is quite clumpy if you just use a fork or spoon to stir it.
This one is a few dollars cheaper than the classic protein.

Classic Blend Raw Protein Vanilla
I really like the flavor of this one and it also mixes a little easier than the Warrior Blend.
Both products supply plant-based raw protein and are easily digested. Sunwarrior Classic Protein is made from a sprouted rice protein whereas Warrior Blend is a synergistic combination of raw pea, cranberry, and hemp proteins with coconut medium chain triglycerides.

US residents can request free samples by emailing:  support@sunwarrior.com
